Candidates’ applications will be reviewed holistically. Below are examples of key elements that will be taken into consideration when reviewing applications. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of items that are evaluated. For full application requirements, please visit the CaRMS website.
- Undergraduate grades
- Medical school performance
- Casper test score
- Past awards/recognitions
- Interest in radiology: (preferably at least one radiology elective)
- Research
- Reference letters (preferably at least one from a practicing radiologist)
- Life experience: volunteer, job experience, extracurricular activities (this can include sport, music, arts etc.)
- Personal letter
