Application
Applications require a letter of intent, 3 reference letters from individuals who have worked with the applicant in a clinical capacity, 1 reference letter from the applicant’s current program director, and an up-to-date cv. Applications will open on July 1 2024 with additional details posted at this time.
Eligibility
The UBC Nuclear Medicine does not currently participate in the CaRMS match. Applicants should be enrolled in a Royal College accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program or have successfully completed a Royal College accredited Diagnostic Radiology.
Applicants who have completed Diagnostic Radiology residency outside of Canada are still eligible to apply if they have successfully completed their Royal College exam in Diagnostic Radiology and are eligible to practice Diagnostic Radiology in Canada. In specific situations, individuals who do not meet this criteria may still be eligible to apply but this is determined on a case-by-case basis by our Selection Committee and applicants should email the Program Directors. Selection Criteria
Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. The Selection Committee, which is composed of members of the Residency Program Committee (RPC), will consider all aspects of the applicants’ file when making a decision. Members of the Selection Committee have completed training in hiring equity and are committed to recruiting excellent residents, through a fair and equitable process.
Timeline
The program will be accepting applications for a position beginning July 1, 2026. Applicants should submit the completed application by August 2, 2024. Please double check the eligibility criteria before submitting an application. Successful applicants will be interviewed in September 2024.
